The Position: Clinical Informatics Analyst

Employment Status: Full-time

Hours per two-week pay-period: 80

Essential Job Functions:

  • Day to day assistance coordinating and integrating clinical information technology into practice.
  • Work with vendor to build and problem solve Electronic Health Record issues for end users.
  • Assist with orientation and ongoing education for end users on Electronic Health Record use and workflows.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-year degree in Nursing or Clinical Informatics
  • 2 years of Epic Electronic Health Record utilization
  • 2 years of clinical experience

Certifications and Licenses:

  • Current MT RN or LPN license or a degree in Clinical Informatics required.
  • Clinical Informatics certification preferred but not required.

Position Summary:

Sidney Health Center is seeking a Clinical Informatics Analyst to join our I CARE team in the Software Applications setting. Essential duties of the position include daily support and troubleshooting of issues for end users, EMR utilization improvement and optimization for end users, and providing education and training on EMR use for end users. The Software Applications team is critical to effective clinical utilization of the Electronic Health Record in providing patient care.
