The Position: CNA/Cardiac Monitor Technician

Employment Status: Full and Part Time

Hours per two-week pay-period: 48 to 71 hours

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide patient monitoring support and direct patient care
  • Observe, post, and interpret cardiac rhythm of patients
  • Recognize and report any changes in cardiac rhythm to nurse
  • Maintain records and documents of cardiac rhythrms

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or equivalency
  • Completion of minimum 75-hour CNA training course
  • Telemetry certification or ability of obtain certification within 90 days of employment

Certifications and Licenses

  • Current CNA licensure or obtain licensure within 6 months of employment
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Telemetry Certification

Position Summary:

Sidney Health Center is seeking a CNA/Cardiac Monitor Tech to join our I CARE team in the Acute Care setting. Essential duties of the position include providing patient monitoring support and direct patient care; observing, posting, and interpreting cardiac rhythm strips; recognizing and reporting any changes in rhythms to the nurse, maintaining records and documents of cardiac rhythms.
