The Position: Staff Development Coordinator

Employment Status: Full-Time

Hours per two-week pay-period: 40 hours per week

Essential Job Functions:

  • Orientation of staff including working with Human Resources in the on-boarding process
  • Conducting and evaluating staff competencies for Certified Nursing Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Registered Nurses
  • Coordinate and track all in-services and mandatory continuing education or training

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • LPN license but RN license preferred
  • Minimum 1-year Long Term Care Experience
  • Minimum 2 years Leadership or Management Experience
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Certifications and Licenses

  • Registered Nurse (Compact or MT License)
  • CPR

Position Summary:

Orientation of staff including working with Human Resources in the on-boarding process.
