The Position: Activities Director
Employment Status: Full-Time
Hours per two-week pay-period: 80 hours
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide the residents with routine daily activities and services that would be necessary to carry out the plan of care.
- Utilizing a social model of care, you are responsible for the quality of life for the resident.
- Assist the Activity Director in planning, implementing assessing and organizing all activities per residents' individual interests and needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year Long Term Care Experience or Assistance in Activities Programs
- State Certification as an Activity Director or Montana license as a Recreational or Occupational Therapist or COTA
Certifications and Licenses
- CPR (preferred but not required)
Position Summary:
Sidney Health Center is seeking a Director of Activities to join our I CARE team in the Long-Term Care Setting. Essential duties of the position include developing, implementing, and evaluating programs that meet spiritual, recreational, intellectual, work and service needs of the residents living in the skilled nursing facility.
