The Position: Activity Aide

Employment Status: Part-Time

Hours per two-week pay-period: 40 hours

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide the residents with routine daily activities and services that would be necessary to carry out the plan of care.
  • Utilizing a social model of care, you are responsible for the quality of life for the residents.
  • Planning, implementing assessing and organizing all activities per residents’ individual interests and needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-year Long Term Care Experience or Assistance in Activities Programs Preferred

Certifications and Licenses

  • CPR (preferred but not required)

Position Summary:
Sidney Health Center is seeking an Activities Aide for our Extended Care Facility. Essential duties include some administrative duties, ability to communicate with residents, volunteers, visitors, and staff. Assistance with performing small or large group activities, entertaining, spiritual, and one-on-one activities. Requires having a pleasant and caring demeanor, being patient, considerate, being able to multi-task, having the ability to effectively interact with the residents, and having a current Montana’s driver’s license. The Activities team is critical to serving the aging population through memory care, rehabilitation, and end of life.
