The Position: Imaging Director
Employment status: Full-Time
Hours per two-week pay period: 80 hours
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide leadership and management of all diagnostic imaging services
- Maintain regulatory and accreditation compliance
- Oversee department staffing, scheduling, and performance management
- Manage budgeting, capital planning, and equipment lifecycle
Minimum Qualifications:
- Progressive leadership experience in diagnostic imaging or radiology
- Experience in hospital-based imaging operations preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of imaging modalities, regulatory requirements, and patient safety and quality standards
- Strong operational leadership, staff management, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
Education
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology, Diagnostic Imaging, Nursing or related healthcare field required.
- Previous management experience preferred
Certifications and Licenses
- Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), equivalent modality certification.
- Current MT license as required in related healthcare field
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced certifications in imaging modalities preferred
Position Summary:
Sidney Health Center is seeking an Imaging Director to join our I CARE team in the Radiology setting. Essential duties of the position include directing daily operations of imaging services, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies including state and federal standards, and fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
