The Position: Primary Care Clinic ~ Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse
Employment Status: Full-time
Hours per two-week pay-period: 72
Compensation:
- Medical Assistant Uncertified Compensation: $17.75 Per hour starting wage, aligned with internal pay structure and experience
- Medical Assistant Certified Compensation: $19.00 Per hour starting wage, aligned with internal pay structure and experience
- LPN Compensation: $24.50 Per hour starting wage, aligned with internal pay structure and experience
- RN Compensation: $30.74 Per hour starting wage, aligned with internal pay structure and experience
Essential Job Functions:
- Assessments, assisting providers with procedures, calling patients with test results, filing, ordering medical supplies, and additional duties as assigned by Primary Care Clinic providers
- Rooming patients, taking vitals, intake documentation, assisting with procedures in clinic
- Coordination of patient care
Minimum Qualifications:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or relevant certification within 12 months of hire or have an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Proficiency in basic medical terminology and procedures and knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Certifications and Licenses:
- Must complete certification with an accredited Medical Assistant program within 12 months of hire or have a current unencumbered Montana/Compact LPN or RN license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Position Summary:
Sidney Health Center is seeking a Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse to join our I CARE team in the Primary Care Clinic setting. Essential duties of the position include rooming patients, completing assessments, calling patients with results, coordination of patient care, and assisting with procedures.
