Job Description

This position is under the supervision of the Senior Executive of Physician Services and is responsible for coordination of medical staff credentialing, Telemedicine and outreach services with oversight of medical staff activities and functions including provision for administrative services to aide in the planning and implementation. Serves as the leading resource of the department, and collaborates with others to advance the quality of practitioners and patient care utilizing the Studer principles   Ensures compliance with accreditation, regulatory, legal, quality standards and Medial Staff Bylaws and Regulations. Position requires a solid working relationship with medical staff and administration. Oversees departmental activities to ensure quality in conducting, maintaining, and communicating physician credentialing and privileging. The Director represents Sidney Health Center on coalition groups, fundraising events and promotes the organization through networking activities. A Bachelor's degree in Health Care or related Business with a minimum of 1 year management experience is required.
