The Position: MT/MLT

Employment Status: Full time

Hours per two-week pay-period: 80 hours

Essential Job Functions:

• The Medical technologist will be able to work in all areas of the lab. 
• The Medical technologist will be required to run samples and do the general maintenance on the instrumentation in the lab.
• They will also do microscopic exams on body fluids.
• They will be required to process blood bank specimens and microbiology specimens. 
• Will be required to do phlebotomies to obtain the proper samples for testing. 
• Results will be put into the computer system accurately and the performing technologist will complete the maintenance and quality control paperwork.  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate/bachelor’s degree in medical technologist
• To be licensed in the state of Montana as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Clinical Laboratory Technician.

Certifications and Licenses

• Licensed in the state of Montana as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Clinical Laboratory Technician.

Position Summary:

Sidney Health Center is seeking a MT/MLT to join our I CARE team in the Laboratory setting. Essential duties of the position include be able to work in all areas of the lab Hematology, Chemistry, Blood Bank, and Microbiology in addition to phlebotomy, to run samples and do the general maintenance on the instrumentation in the lab and do microscopic exams on body fluids.
