Revenue Cycle Director
The Revenue Cycle Director is a Full-Time position that oversees the overall policies, objectives and initiatives of Sidney Health Center's revenue cycle, optimizing cash flow while enhancing patient experience and internal and external relationships. Reviews, implements and maintains processes surrounding admissions, coding, billing, third party payer relationships, compliance, and collections to ensure that revenue cycle is effective and properly utilized. Responsibilities also include monitoring department charges, facilitating annual CPT code updates, tracking and analyzing metrics to identify and address areas needing improvement, ensuring claims, denials, appeals and credits are accurately and efficiently processed, and leading the revenue cycle team in a structured and organized manner. Patient Access, Health Information Management and Patient Financial Services departments will report to this position. The Revenue Cycle Director will report to the Senior Executive, Finance. A minimum of 5 years healthcare management experience in a revenue cycle related department required. Bachelor or associate degree preferred. Certification within any revenue cycle department function (i.e. FHFMA, CHFMA, RHIT, etc.) is preferred.
