Revenue Cycle Management ? Prior Authorization Team Member

Sidney Health Center is excited to be seeking a candidate for a Full-Time prior authorization team member. This position will be responsible for starting a prior authorization with different insurance payer sources via phone, online, and fax services. The individual will follow the prior authorization until resolved and make necessary appeals should a request be denied. No prior experience with prior authorizations is necessary, but applicants should have at least 6 months customer service experience and be comfortable with professional phone and email etiquette. An ability to learn quickly, learn medical terminology and differentiate between different medical coding systems (i.e. DX, CPT, and ICD-10 codes), work with limited direct supervision, have strong time management skills are a must. This is a Full-Time position that will work primarily weekday shifts, but some weekends or evenings may be required in rare instances.
