Sterile Processing Technician

Full-Time position responsible for the following, decontaminates instruments, supplies and equipment according to established policies and procedures. Cleans, assembles, wraps, sterilizes and stores supplies and instrument trays. Performs biological and chemical monitoring in accordance with quality assurance standards. Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Works under the supervision of the O. R. Nurse Manager. Provides ancillary duties and assists with patient care as directed and performs other duties as directed. High school diploma or equivalent required, Sterile Processing Certification preferred, or one year clinical experience in the perioperative field preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills required, willing to train. Sidney Health Center offers competitive wages and benefits including insurance and paid time off.
